MILAN ITALY INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION OF 1894
Scarce--only 30,000 printed

While little known in the US, this exposition encompassed sports, the fine arts, photography, opera, theater, philately, geography, wine, horticulture, the graphic arts, and advertising --as attested by the Italian inscription on this card. Card is unused and in excellent condition. There is a light pencil numbering (1823) in the corner which we believe was how the cards were numbered & accounted for. Sold but still available for scholarly study & research as a full-size & enhanced 72-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $1.50 ei

Venice International Art Exposition 1899. Unused, paper starting to show its age, especially about the edges.
Small shallow scrape in the gold area at left
removes about 20% of that color.
