Clear but doubled MAY 27 1889 Syracuse NY hand cancel ties 2-c Washington franking #6 envelope to Ohio, opening at right front damaged the stamp, interesting letter on Smith Premier Typewriter Co. stationery advises client who had trouble keeping the paper straight & complained of sluggish action of the carriage. How they suggested coping with the difficulties & plans for future improvement also disclosed on the message typed in blue. $7.50 cn%
