"ZD9AM" DX-pedition shortwave (7 Mc) QSL post card used 1962 by operator James 'Jimmy' Long (W4ZRZ) via W4ECI, internal crease that is hard to detect from the front, small upper corner bend. In the previous year a volcanic eruption forced all island inhabitants to evacuate. Expeditions such as this one helped to assess the damage--which was tolerable in places, so a resettlement resulted in 1963. $10.00 thv&! NEW / NOUVEAU / NOU
